18 YEARS OF BTP  (posted January 16, 2016)
Welcome to 2016, the 18th anniversary year of Beyond the Pale! Eighteen, or “chai,” is a special number in Jewish culture. It represent life, and good luck, two things we’ve had our fair share of in being able to keep this enterprise going for so long. It is a rare thing for a group such as ours to last this long. Our longevity speaks to our genuine affection for each other as people as well as the creative synergy that is always present when we get in a room together with our instruments. Over the last few years we’ve been a little less active due to personal circumstances and some bandmembers starting families or otherwise contending with other musical projects and life’s little distractions. But we’re excited to re-invigorate BTP, with a new record nearing completion and set for release later this year. Thanks to all our families, friends, followers for sticking with us all this time, the best is yet to come!
